Rewind back to 2002. We were playing around and experimenting with Vaz Modular live improv, random post processing, glitches and TTS generators. We made this 4-track EP called Sunet², which we never thought it’s worth releasing. However, 16 years later, a friend of ours recently developed a strange fetish for failed “songs”, turned it into a label (!), and asked us to dig in our old dusty crates. He chose 2 of the 4 tracks for his second release.

Here’s the full length EP. The release date is fictive, we used capaz de fazer’s date from the future. The third track is not about the devil, the devil doesn’t exist. Please don’t enjoy this!

¿liveD / NETDI reissue by capaz de fazer

We had to dig deep in the bento box (circa 16 years deep, more precisely) to find these two special makzushis. As opposed to the duo’s trademark meticulous approach, ‘¿liveD’ is an exercise in extreme modulation with a heavy presence of uncontrolled flux.
Its counterpart ‘NETDI’ takes on a more fixed form of randomness via text-to-speech, and may be read as follows:
